A new day

So today has been a new day, and to clear some confusion between my husbands and my postings, my Dr only wrote 4 days worth of pain medications because a pain specialist was supposed to meet with me prior to leaving the hospital, and manage my medication, but unfortunately due to miscommunication, this did not occur before I was sent home, and thus I was left to manage on my own until things were sorted out! An unfortunate and painful mistake... no pun intended! :) The pain I am now battling is nothing narcotics would help with anyways, but instead muscle spasms and nerve pain, as my C7 nerve is finally being re-perfused... yea and ouch! I will take it any day though to the alternative. Tomorrow I will post more of what was actually found during the operation, but for now am off to rest and hopefully heal some more! Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! Oh, and PS, the bummer part of my surgery is they actually shaved the back of my head/hair line, and let me tell you surgeons are not trained to do this in a straight line.... AKA no ponytails for me for the next year or so, or I might be mistaken for one of those "skate-boarders" in the 90s that thought shaving the back of your hair was the cool thing to do! Ummm, and I cannot ride a skateboard, so that is not me! :)
